Hiroshi Jake Hamade is an artist based in Winnipeg whose projects are influenced by queer identity, human movement, semiotics, and post-internet temporality. Their works analyze online/offline dynamics through web-based VR/AR mediums while questioning the pernicious and peculiar natures of internet subcultures fostering in-group and out-group polarization.
